

The conversion is to and from the SMD format. SMD is a widely supported format, originally used on the game Half-Life, that supports skeletons, meshes and animations. This is just about the skeletons and animations, but you can add a weighted mesh to the skeleton and it will animate. The Clip files work on both bodies and objects. Conversion works both ways, from S3 animation to SMD and back.
